With the close of historic Yankee Stadium in 2008, Game Time released three versions of a commemorative watch in numbered limited editions of 500 each. This one on a brown leather strap in a limited edition of only 500, one on a black leather strap in limited number of 1000 and the most prized was the General Manager's version with a 23K gold logo on a stainless steel strap in limited number of 500. All have long since sold out. Half of all the watches were given directly to Yankee Stadium and were sold there. The others have gone directly to collectors.

The one offered here is the brown leather strap version, #270 / 500 in matching special commemorative watch tin. This watch is in new, never worn mint, working condition. Brushed silver tone stainless steel case, stainless steel case back, three hand quartz Japanese movement, water resistant to 3 ATM (30 meters/ 100 feet). Brown leather mens strap. Matching commemorative tin with picture of the stadium and a list of the 26 world championship years.
