Shipping and Return Policies

Returns Policy
Items received defective will be replaced at our cost including the return shipping costs. You must contact us within 14 days of receipt of item to report a defect and You will be given specific instructions regarding how to package the return that are intended to hold the return shipping costs down. We also warrant the movements in our vintage collectible watches for up to 60 days.  It is important to fully follow the instructions to assure you receive full compensation for your return shipping costs. When an item cannot be replaced we will refund your entire purchase including your shipping fee. It is important to contact us regarding defective item returns PRIOR to having your watch opened and worked on by another jeweler. To do so will result in forfeiting your right to a return. This includes an apparent dead battery replacement.

Non defective Items that remain in new condition can be returned within 14 days of receipt of the item at the customers expense for a replacement item or gift card from our store valued at the cost of the item minus the shipping cost or for a refund.  Items MUST be returned with all tags and packaging and in the same condition in which it was received. No exceptions. 

When accepting a replacement item, If value of the replacement item is more or less than the original, then a cost adjustment will be made as partial refund of cost difference or additional charge for an item of greater value. Shipping of your replacement item will be free. 

Payment refunds when approved, will be minus the original ship fee and will be subject to a 5% restocking fee. Only items received back in their original condition are eligible for a refund of payment. Restock fees are waived if the item is received timely and in exact condition it was in when sent. 

Extended return times beyond the 14 days can be requested in advance for buyers who intend to hold an item for some time before giving it as a gift. This can commonly occur during the peak holiday seasons.

Some Vintage collectible and the occasional preowned items that we offer can be difficult to accurately describe as to their overall condition. In those cases where you feel your vintage item was not accurately represented, you may return your item for a refund with no restocking fee as long as it is returned unused in the same collectible condition received. Note that The packaging tins paperwork and miscellaneous parts and unused nature of collectible items adds to their value. So you must decide on return of a collectible before any damage is done to the packaging or any use of the item occurs. A collectible item is not returnable once used except for 60 day warranty work to the movement.




U.S. Shipping:  
Item shipping costs are a fixed rate based on the number of items purchased and weight and is the same regardless of shipping location within the U.S. Items ship U.S. Post Office Priority mail with tracking.  An Express Guaranteed two business day ship option has been recently added


The vast majority of our items are IN HAND and ship U.S. Post Office Priority mail insured, with tracking. Most items ship out within 24-48 hours after payment is received when payments are received by 2 pm EST. and items are usually received within 3-4 business days. During exceptionally busy holiday times, there may be a two to three day processing time before shipment.

Drop shipped items are shipped directly from the manufacturer and generally require between 6-10 business days for delivery. The item descriptions specify which items are IN HAND, and which will be drop shipped.

EXPRESS SHIPPING -- We have recently added a 2 day guaranteed Express shipping option. Express payments must be received by 2pm EST  (Monday thru Friday) for shipments to go out that same day. Otherwise they will ship out the following business day. The two day guarantee begins after we drop off the item. The two day guarantee is a service of the Post Office and they are responsible for meeting this obligation or refunding the Express fee if they fail to meet the obligation.  If we are unable to get your express item out in a timely manner we will refund the Express shipping charge and downgrade the shipment to Priority mail. You will be notified if this occurs and will have the option to cancel the purchase for a full refund.

International buyers are welcome, however international shipping is very expensive and many buyers find the ship price unacceptable. International buyers or buyers shipping to an international address must contact me PRIOR TO PURCHASE for a shipping cost. Shipping options offered will be for Express International and Priority International both  of which offer insured en route tracking. Instructions for purchasing international shipping will be provided when you confirm your interest  and accept the price quote.
