With the close of historic Yankee Stadium in 2008, The Yankees won the 2009 World Series while playing for their first season in their new stadium. Game Time released this commemorative watch with Platinum logo and limited to 2009 total. All have long since sold out to collectors. You are purchasing #0490, in new unworn Mint working condition. The one offered here is #0490 of 2009 ( the photo of the back of the watch shows 486 which has sold). Platinum Sapphire version in padded watch case. This is the last of these that we have. 

This watch is in new, never worn mint, working condition. In addition to the platinum logo, The watch has a sapphire crystal, Stainless steel band, case and case back, three hand quartz Japanese movement, water resistant to 5 ATM (50 meters/ 165 feet). 

The Yankees defeated the Phillies, 4 games to 2, winning their 27th World Series championship.

** NOTE: Elsewhere on our site we MAY still have listed a Gold logo watch and a Platinum logo watch commemorating the Yankee Stadium Final Season that were released in a limited edition of only 250 total !!   Game Time has discontinued producing ALL General Manager and Sapphire Plaatinum watches due to the increasing cost of gold and platinum.
