Disney Maleficent light up watch Fossil made wristwatch in excellent condition: released in a numbered limited edition of 2000.  The watch features a spectacular artistic color pose of Maleficent from the Disney original animated movie Sleeping Beauty  A rare domed crystal enhances the image. Disney has also released a more recent movie called Maleficent that focus's on this evil character's story. This watch was released some 25 years before that movie release. This collectible watch is in full working condition with a new battery. Walt Disney Gallery release with Three hand analog Japanese Quartz movement, Case diameter: 34 mm, black lizard calf band 16 mm, mineral domed crystal.  Fits up to an 8 1/4 inch wrist. A 16mm band is usually a womens size ( mens are more typically 18mm and up) but the length allows this to accommodate a wrist size up to 8 1/2 inch It is a popular but hard to find sold out Disney collectors item so we have listed this as unisex.

Very rare to find one of these in this excellent working used condition with the backlight also still working well. There are some very light visible signs of use around the gold toned bezel and the stainless steel case back shows wear.  Because this is a previously worn watch: If you are not satisfied with the condition of this watch upon receipt, you may return it at our expense for a full refund. About the animator Marc Davis:

Marc Davis  (1913 – 2000) started with Walt Disney in 1935 on Snow White. In addition to Maleficent he later went on to develop and animate the final design characters of Bambi, as well as Flower and female skunk. Also in his credits:  Cinderella, Tinkerbell, Alice and the eye glasses creature for Alice in Wonderland, Auora (Sleeping Beauty), Cruella de Vil (101 Dalmatians). Davis was responsible for character design for both the Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion attractions at Disneyland. In 1989 he was also the recipient of the much-coveted Mousecar (the Disney equivalent of an Oscar). He was one of Disneys famed "Nine Old Men" the  core animators of Disney animated films that include among others: Ollie Johnson and Frank Thomas and was revered for his knowledge and understanding of visual aesthetics.
