Special Pre Release Mickey Moue Club 40th Anniversary Watch: The watch has classic Mickey Mouse Club face and name logo in color. Mickey Mouse name embossed as M-I-C   K-E-Y   M-O-U-S-E on a black leather band with mouse ears clasp. Case diameter: 32 mm, band width: 16mm,  Fits up to an 8 inch wrist: Size is more suitable for a womens wrist but is a unisex collectible wristwatch. Three hand Japanese quartz movement with analog display. This is a new old stock item in unworn working collectible condition.

As noted on the Certificate of Authenticity: this watch in its solid black mouse ears wood case was created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Mickey Mouse Club which first aired on October 3, 1955.

The one offered here was one of 500 pre - released at the September 1995 Disneyana Convention. The edition of 500 is distinguished by its unique backstamp ( see photo of back of watch) attesting to its exclusivity.

Elsewhere on our site is one of the 4500 non Disneyana general release watches in wood box. It is identical except the Certificate of Authenticity and the watch back and wood box bottom notes a release of 5000 vs. 500. it is offered at a lower price.
